Obama has not limited his country to being a pushover. Neither will he agree to take measures to improve air security and protection of his country. Obama intends to kill the monster in his den and has already ordered his military force to prepare to attack Al Qaeda’s objectives in Yemen.
Here, and probably in sufficient European countries, Al Qaeda has made plans for acts of contrition, conjuring fallacies based on the past and the need for sociological excuses that would permit the assimilation of the Nigerian terrorist’s insane behavior.
Some people talk about the Alliance of Civilizations, providing the argument that withholding retaliation would avert the danger of the fanatics. This temporary fix would help them overcome their fright and, for some time, they would live with confidence in the idea that if the terrorists are not touched, bothered or offended, they will not engage in bombing trains, blowing up nightclubs and destroying airplanes full of passengers in the middle of flight.
Astonishing Error
The terrorists hate us for who we are and what we do. At the moment of searching for a motive, Allah’s fanatics would be satisfied with using reasoning such as troops in Afghanistan or some bikini-clad women on Sun Coast, Spain.
President Obama has indicated the way. When Barack states how essential it is to quickly diagnose the problems and offer an immediate solution, he does not refer only to the faults in the airport controls, the errors in the channels of intelligent services or the disconnection between Nigeria’s Embassy and the FBI or CIA.
The problem does not solely consist of these “potentially catastrophic” deficiencies. The drama is that the Occident limits itself to waiting. Obama will not do that. Our flaming Nobel Peace Prize winner will take the war where it is necessary to avoid death returning to U.S. soil.
