Thousands of tribesmen launched a protest against the America drone plane missile attacks on innocent peoples. Large numbers of well known leaders from the Ahmad Karzai Wazir, Dotali and Khail tribes participated in the protest. During the protest, the Rustam Bazaar in Wana was shut down for more than three hours and it ceased daily business. After the protest, the tribesmen arranged a session, in which more than 15,000 tribesmen participated. The speakers protested against American attacks on innocents and demanded from the government a sovereign foreign policy, which includes the protection of innocent people and the ability to stop further blood shed. They further demanded that the government act according to a jointly passed bill with the parliament and immediately arrange to pay the people who suffered in these guided missile attacks. They also demanded that the government stop the attacks by the Americans.
