Iran: We Dug Graves for American Soldiers

Iran once again proves that it is not afraid of a war with the USA. One of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guard said that graves have already been dug, into which bodies of American soldiers will be tossed.

The deputy of the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, General Hoseyn Anani Moghadam, said that graves for U.S. army soldiers had been dug in the southwestern province of Chuzestan. The Iraqi soldiers killed in the Iraqi-Iranian war in 1980-88 were buried there. By the way, he repeated that if an attack on Iran takes place, it will take revenge on the American bases in the Persian Gulf.

“I assume that we will strike the enemy by attacking the military bases near our borders and there will be no chances that their forces will land in Iran,” Moghadam said. “Huge losses in such a war will be suffered not only by Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added. In his opinion, it will be the beginning of a large-scale war in the region.

The statement was made a few days after the chairman of College of Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen said that an attack by the USA on Iran in order to thwart its plans to arm itself with nuclear weapons is still possible. The West accuses Iran of taking advantage of the civil nuclear program as a cover for constructing nuclear weapons. Tehran has repeatedly denied these accusations, claiming that the nuclear program serves it to obtain energy for peaceful purposes and not to construct an atomic bomb. Lately, U.N., E.U. and the USA themselves have imposed new sanctions against Iran that are about to increase the pressure on that country to give up its nuclear plans.
