They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?”
There is much more in Israel’s contradictions, but this one alone would suffice: Ben-Gurion replaced allegiance to God at Israel’s founding ceremony and replaced it with “Rock f Israel.” His argument: “God did too little for Jews to deserve this credit.”
