The U.S.-NATO War against Libya

Unfortunately, the worst estimates and suspicions about the war taking place in Libya, and the political nature of the anti-Gadhafi forces, have been confirmed. From now on, the conflict’s civil dimension can only be considered secondary. Also, the West’s enforcement of a “no-fly zone” — supposedly intended for “humanitarian” missions to prevent the bloodthirsty Gadhafi from using his air forces to bomb civilian opponents — has proven to be a fairy tale.

Now we are dealing with a U.S. and NATO military invasion of Libya whose goal is to overthrow or kill Gadhafi by using military force. The West’s ships, planes and rockets are not there to prevent Gadhafi’s planes from flying.

Let’s not kid ourselves. This is a real air war to annihilate Gadhafi’s land forces. As soon as they occupy a city or when the regime’s army advances, the U.S. and NATO attack and bomb them, cut off their supply lines and strike their bases. If the U.S. and NATO do not bomb the right place, the anti-Gadhafi forces immediately flee from that place. Without the West’s air war, anti-Gadhafi armed forces would only be in some parts of the desert — not in any cities.

This kind of war — the war that the U.S. and NATO wage against the Libyan regime — prejudges its outcome. No matter how many victories Gadhafi achieves against the anti-Gadhafi forces, they will be only temporary.

In the end, the Americans and Europeans will certainly overthrow him, and they will either kill or arrest him unless he agrees to go into exile to save himself. But there is not even one chance in a million that Gadhafi will win the war that the U.S. and NATO have declared against him.

Despite what they say now, if necessary, the U.S. and NATO will proceed with ground operations against him. Their army will include tens of thousands of Arabs from regimes subordinate to Washington, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf Emirates.

The Americans and Europeans have admitted officially that hundreds, perhaps thousands, of intelligence agents and special forces from the U.S., Britain, France, Holland and other countries are already on Libyan soil.

They sabotage, collect information to target the U.S.-led bombing, organize and train anti-Gadhafi forces, recruit Libyan agents and conspire to assassinate senior members of the regime, even Gadhafi himself, etc. American, European, Egyptian and other Arab officers are already on Libyan soil and taking part in the combat operations of the anti-Gadhafi forces.

With funds from the Saudis and the Emirates, there is an abundant flow of arms via Egypt to the anti-Gadhafi forces, and now the U.S., Britain and France are publicly stating that they are considering officially assuming control of the anti-Gadhafi equipment, of course charging Libya with billions of dollars, and then collecting the debt by looting the country’s oil supplies as soon as they overthrow Gadhafi.

In the meantime, they will financially “skin” the Saudis and the Emirates, with Qatar playing an intermediary role from now until the recovery of revenue from Libyan oil, in agreement, of course, with the West.

“REBELS”

Intimate Relations with the U.S.

Even the Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa abandoned Gadhafi and went to London to cooperate with the British government, while French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe announced more defections. At the same time, American newspapers revealed in extensive reports that some leaders of the anti-Gadhafi forces (for instance their de facto “Minister of Foreign Affairs” Mahmoud Jibril, the former Minister of the Economy Ali al-Hweij and others) maintained relationships with U.S. officials for many years. If these people govern the country after Gadhafi, one can reasonably assume Libya’s political direction.
