Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, the head of the Majlis Foreign Policy Committee, said in an interview with Resalat that an American agency has been connected to terrorist groups.

The series of terror attacks on Iran by anti-Iran terrorist groups continues; yesterday one of the scientists involved in the nuclear advancement of Iran, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, became a target of these groups. However, how do such terrorist attacks occur in the country? It leads many to believe that answers would be found with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, the head of the Majlis Foreign Policy Committee, believes that America and the IAEA have been connected to terrorist groups and these terrorists are receiving information about Iran’s scientists from these same channels. Falahatpisheh, in an interview with Resalat reporters, indicated that the connection between the agency (and its inspectors) and terrorist groups becomes more apparent every day. He warned, “We must protest the inhumane actions of this agency by immediately sending a memorandum to the relevant international conventions.”*

He also spoke on the important measures the Information Ministry and other information organizations of Iran have taken against more terrorist acts. He said, “We must not allow Western espionage devices to exploit information leaks because this negligence has resulted in the martyrdom of several important Iranian nuclear scientists.”* He pointed out that the role of public diplomacy is important as well, and added, “We must use all of our media power to reveal the nature of the terrorists and their goals to terrorize our country’s scientists.”*

With the exposure of the connection between the terrorists and Western countries, Falahatpisheh was asked whether or not Iran would be implementing similar actions. He said, “Iran’s view is a totally moral one. We are trying not to answer terror with terror, and Iran has been condemned many times for acts of terrorism.”*

In closing, the head of the Majlis Foreign Policy Committee spoke about the role of America in supporting various terrorist groups, such as the Rigi Group and the Monafeghin. He stated, “We have recently seen the two letters the chair of the U.S. Congress Internal Security Commission wrote for Obama.”* In those [letters] he affirmed the execution of secret operations against Iranian forces and establishments. This shows that America has a specific plan for continuing terrorism in Iran, and while they never officially connect themselves with terrorist groups that act against the Islamic Republic, they don’t deny it either.
