Democracy and Freedom in America Are a Big Lie

During a visit with members of the Fajr Headquarters, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said: Democracy and freedom in America is a big lie.

According to a political journalist at IRNA, during a visit with members of the Islamic Revolution’s Fajr Headquarters on Monday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad noted that America has been ruled by two parties for over 100 years. He said that the purpose is a two-party system and that only their [chess] pieces are moved.

He continued: There is a group behind the scenes that puts people in power, but they have one goal — the moment Bush is gone another person takes over.

While stating that today everyone knows the rule of Marxism has ended in the world, the president said humanism has also reached the end of the road and they no longer have any new innovation, idea, or thought.

While pointing out that anytime a person resorts to bombs and force it is the beginning of their downfall, he said, today they threaten missiles, bombs and blockades everywhere and they fall short. If someone supports them it is because of fear.

In another part of his speech the president stated that the Revolution is a living and dynamic entity that is in a state of motion, undergoing growth, and being perfected. He said that the way we view the Revolution today is different from 30 years ago — the scope of its demands and the horizons of its vision are different.

The Islamic Revolution is the Most Democratic Revolution in History.

Ahmadinejad recognized the Islamic Revolution of Iran as the biggest movement in Iran and in part of the world and he expressed: “Our Revolution is the most democratic revolution in history, which has emerged into a nation from the depth of a pure and divine conscience. The people have taken all of the responsibility upon their own shoulders and today as well, they safeguard the existence of the Revolution.”

He emphasized: “Today, we must consider this revolution, the greatest revolution [ever]. Many are interested in explaining the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a limited movement, but once it is understood for its true greatness and the movement flourishes, we believe the Revolution — as a larger movement, which it has been throughout history — is leading to the principle of human perfection and the authority of a divine caliphate.”

While stating that the future belongs to the ideology of this Revolution, the president added: “The only path to prosperity is to move in accordance with the saints and prophets.” Ahmadinejad added: “God created humanity and placed a heavy mission upon their shoulders. Humans, who were the lowest beings in existence, were created from dirt. But God endowed humanity with talents that they could grow and ascend.”

He continued: “In this way, humanity became the manifestation of God and could be the substitute of God over all existence; this is the mission and the reason for the creation of humanity.”

Ahmadinejad recognized the struggle for the achievement of unity and values as the primary mission of humanity on Earth and the second mission of humanity is the creation of a prosperous society.

The president stated that God has promised humanity a life where oppression, aggression, and indignity do not exist and one that is full of beauty, love, and kindness. He said: “God has promised this life to humanity, but human society must act according to God’s commandments.”

Ahmadinejad added: “God did not leave humanity alone in this regard and has established for them the [Supreme] Leader, the Imam [Khomeini], and a pattern.”

He expressed: “Today many people do not understand human existence and perfection because some of the imperialist governments and powers do not permit them. All mankind is uneasy and dissatisfied with this world.”

The president said: “The Islamic Revolution of Iran is a movement and a step toward revival and awakening.”
