“Excuse me, sir, it’s not time for questions, sir.” “Not while I’m speaking!” “… I didn’t ask for an argument, I’m answering your question.”
The president of the United States lost it. The way he lost his temper almost made you clap in admiration in front of the TV. Gossip — American gossip, that is — said it was about time. That everyone had had it with Obama the “smart,” intelligent” or “brilliant.” Still, he is the President of the United States of America. Theoretically, the head of the world’s most powerful country “is not allowed” to get angry. However, U.S. analysts already are fired up, commenting that Obama had been trying for so long to be perfect that he became suspicious!
We don’t know if this new “all natural” label fits him fully, given his “last slip-up” during the ceremony for the posthumous award of the Medal of Liberty to the Polish hero Jan Karski. There, the president dubbed “IQ President,” among other nicknames, made a gaffe by mentioning the “Polish death camps,” which greatly infuriated the Polish.
This time it was about something different. Barack Obama lost his temper while holding a speech about the expulsion of young undocumented immigrants, when a journalist from the Daily Caller, a conservative American publication, interrupted him while he was speaking, giving birth to a very rare situation at the White House.
Angry, the journalist shouted something else from the end of the White House rose garden, where the speech was held. Obviously, the president was appalled — and rightly so. It is not very often that the president of the United States is interrupted while he is delivering a speech in such a formal context.
