As usual, the Arab people do not know where their real interests lie, and always act against reason and logic. Earlier yesterday, a group of savage terrorist thugs struck the headquarters of American diplomacy in Libya and killed the ambassador. The barbarians of Egypt did likewise; others will also commit the same crimes against America.
Nevertheless, I say to the Arab Muslims that American law prohibits the defamation of religions and nationality and prevents even its citizens’ scrutiny of religion and nationality. I also say that this ludicrous film is just the work of a group of racists who could have been prosecuted. Perhaps this is just talk. Regardless, I say to Arab Muslims that in America there are millions of Muslims who enjoy the greatest degree of freedom — freedom which is unavailable in all Muslim countries. Furthermore, the U.S. government finances mosques in America — while leaders of those mosques who reap those funds curse America as they enjoy the fruits and protection of its laws!
This all follows the Iraqis, who betrayed and double-crossed the Americans who saved them from starvation and mass murder and gave them the opportunity to enjoy freedom, democracy and dignity. As if in thanks for the military and political efforts of America against the looting of their wealth and murder at the hands of the criminal Gadhafi, the savage mobs have played this same role in Libya after being freed. Their first step was the attack on the U.S. Embassy and the murder of the ambassador, and so they follow in the Arab tradition of ingratitude and treachery.
These Arabs do not think in reasonable terms, but against their own interests. They reject the friendship of the civilized world, while benefiting from U.S. efforts to edify their countries. They love backwardness and defend it in the name of preserving authenticity and traditions, identity and religion. The result is a further descent into the quagmire of underdevelopment, while they incur the costs of total destruction.
