In the U.S., the fairer sex is taking its revenge for the loss of leadership under patriarchy. They have particularly achieved success in the Secret Service. The organization which provides security for the president and his guests is now headed by Julia Pierson. A woman has also been nominated as head of the division to recruit foreign agents. Her name is a secret, but we know that she is part of the program involved in extracting testimonies from terrorists through force.

According to the Washington Post, she helped with the arrest and interrogation of those suspected of participation in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. And in 2005, she took the decision to destroy the videotapes that so many people had been fixated on: the subjection of prisoners to methods many would call torture.
Therefore, Brennan’s decision could be subject to criticism in the intelligence community, as well as in Congress. But even the current head of the CIA went through a tough time when his candidacy was being confirmed. He was forced to give explanations as to why investigators held the heads of prisoners underwater in order to extract confessions from them.
To protect himself from liberals’ attacks, Brennan made an unexpected decision. He instructed three former employees of the CIA to assess the above mentioned female and other candidates for the position of head of the covert program.
In the meantime, colleagues have been forthcoming with compliments for the new head. She is intelligent, has great experience, knows several languages and has worked in Moscow and other capital cities. After 2001, she held a significant post in the agency’s counter-terrorism office.
In an interview with Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Vladimir Batyuk, senior researcher of the U.S. and Canadian Institute, stated that the clandestine service of the CIA “acquires information by recruiting agents abroad and through technical means, including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. In the U.S. Embassy in Moscow there is a radio service. But the main successes of this organization during the Cold War involved attracting the co-operation of prominent figures of the Soviet Secret Service. These included GRU General Dmitri Polyakov. GRU Colonel Oleg Penkovsky also gave information to the CIA.” Both men were exposed and killed.
“In the ‘70s and ‘80s, a whole host of employees of the U.S. Secret Service were identified and deported. Spying in Russia continues even to this day. But recently, there have been no major incidents. It is clear that neither party wants to see strained relations between the two secret services,” the expert concluded.
One other step in women’s penetration of the “fortress” which had previously only been occupied by men was the appointment of Julia Pierson, 53, as director of the Secret Service. Pierson will take responsibility for the safety of U.S. President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, their wives, all former presidents and their wives, and heads of state and other foreign leaders arriving on official business. The budget for the Secret Service is more than $15 billion.
Pierson started work at the organization immediately after her graduation and has worked there for 29 years. In contrast to the unknown woman from the CIA, Pierson’s profile is clean. But she will have to deal with the consequences of the scandal that came to light during the time of her predecessor. On the eve of Obama’s visit to Colombia last year, Secret Service agents sought the company of a number of prostitutes; 13 agents befriended them at a party and then took them back to their hotel. The matter would have stayed quiet if one of the agents had not started an argument with a girl over fee arrangements.
