Footprints of the US State Department

Not surprisingly, the Ukrainian opposition, which usually vigorously comments on any message from overseas “democrats” is shamefully silent this time. The Ukrainian “Trinity” is displeased to admit that Washington bets on oppositionists … like on horses or cockroaches.

According to Western standards, Klitschko* is unprofessional and Oleh Tyahnibok** is too problematic, so there is no place in the government for these two. Therefore, only Arseniy Yatsenyuk*** is worth betting on. His candidacy quite satisfies Washington. Among all the candidates, Washington promised financial assistance only to Yatsenyuk, who is the technical cabinet minister of the oppositionist Euro-reformers.

Just like that, state representatives Yatsenyuk, Klitschko and Tyahnibok, who certainly considered themselves legitimate and authorized politicians, changed overnight into puppets of the U.S. Department of State. It has become doubly frustrating for the “leaders” of the opposition since this fact became public.

The “independent” Ukrainian media have paid surprisingly little attention to this diplomatic scandal. They seem to be much more concerned with whether the Security Service of Ukraine will investigate the informational leak than with U.S. intervention in Ukrainian internal affairs.

Then again, nowadays, no one has doubts that Washington rudely and unceremoniously intervenes in the political and economic life of our country. Washington’s goal is to create a technical government, which under oppressive terms, will take another International Monetary Fund loan and sign the European Union Association and Free Trade Agreements.

Note that the State Department is trying to implement this scenario in a country with a legally elected president, acting parliament, and even acting government. Apparently, the opinion of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, just as the opinion of regular Ukrainian people, will not be taken into consideration.

American-style democracy does not give this option. Washington has its own methods: the technology of controlled chaos, expansionism and the export of color revolutions**** … Ukraine has already fully experienced its actions. Provocation and escalation of aggression have become ordinary. The State Department’s footprints can be seen practically everywhere, with no cuts or even scratches.
