The Chances of a Triumphant Return

Citing information from Donald Trump’s supporters, the media have reported that the former U.S. president may deliver a speech in which he will announce his intention to return to big politics. Trump’s speech is planned for Feb. 28.

It is possible that the speech will be about the 2024 election. It is also possible that it will focus more narrowly on current events.

Well, it is not like Trump to give up easily and to absent himself from politics. Not long ago, I wrote about how Trump would, in essence, become a national hero. And the greater the pressure and the more attempts to denigrate him and drive him out of politics, the stronger such national support would become. Such are the laws of life and the game known as politics.

Trump portrayed himself as a truly strong and independent political player, capable of going against the establishment, able to break stereotypes and reform the world. This fundamentally contradicts the existing approach, where a single way of thinking is disguised as a variety of determined decisions that in fact are all the same.

Trump actually proved to be the leader that the United States and the entire Western world called for in its quest for change. It does not matter which country you choose; take Europe for example, but throughout the world, the question is whether a competent leader will act not in the interests of a small group of globalists who have privatized power, but will instead act in the national interest.

Although he was a very famous businessman and television personality, Trump emerged in politics practically out of nowhere. He truly crashed the system when, having never served in office for a single day, he won the 2016 Republican presidential primary race, and then was swiftly elected president. His foreign policy was blocked, but he pursued his own economic agenda and achieved results. We won’t repeat Trump’s economic successes here. If it were not for COVID-19, there is little doubt that he would have been reelected.

Trump did not turn out to be just a politician and a government actor. He gave people real, visible, tangible hope for change. Trump has the most valuable quality, without which a true national leader is inconceivable: He is able to encourage and inspire optimism. He offers a happy tomorrow, the chance to move forward while looking to the future with optimism.

After all, politics and governance are by no means just a set of techniques and methods for solving problems. There is still the need to ignite hearts. Imagine current President Joe Biden in this context, and at once everything is obvious.

Similarly, politics and governance do not just consist of economic development and solving societal issues.

The process still involves national values. And all of the evidence today makes it clear: after all the insanity of the Biden administration and aggressive LGBTQ propaganda, Trump has actually become a defender of healthy, traditional views on life, which are still shared by the majority of people who feel humiliated and marginalized by the ugly whims of the times, no matter what they say.

What does the collective-minded Biden have to offer? The denial of human nature, the militant imposition of a singular point of view that accepts that a woman with a beard is the absolute norm, and that treatment of adolescent mental disorders with sex reassignment surgery is appropriate. When the United Nations’ high commissioner for human rights threatens to compile a blacklist of politicians and religious organizations that speak out against the LGBTQ community, and the European commissioner for equality threatens countries, member-states of the European Union, with financial sanctions for the same intolerance of the LGBTQ community, the pendulum cannot help but swing in the other direction.

It is possible that Trump himself does not realize that under these circumstances he is becoming the defender of tradition, truth and healthy relationships, and his struggle is acquiring a particular sanctity, if you will.

Does Trump have a chance to win in 2024 under conditions such as these? Not only is there a chance, but a great one. Even after all the intrigue and dirt that were leveled at him as a result of the last election, the country’s support is not decreasing. On a separate note, it says a lot that the former president of the U.S. is still supported by 59% of Republican voters. Moreover, we should not overlook his ambition and champion-like qualities. Throughout Trump’s term, Democrats relentlessly tried to sabotage him and put obstacles in his way. Arguably, now is the time for Trump’s revenge. And he already knows how to do this with criticism and a twinkle in his eye, because his years of experience as a showman are not going anywhere.

Overall, I think that we can stock up on popcorn, for entertaining times are at hand. Who can return America, and indeed all of its satellites, to the true path if not Trump? There is a demand for this. And it means that there will be quite a serious struggle.
