The Huge Advantage with Trump You May Have Missed

Those who are fixated on thinking about it will call him reckless and impatient; the wise will see global entrepreneurial leadership with a killer instinct and common sense — choose where you want to stand. The people of Israel should be clear about that.

A major rock star goes on an exciting stadium tour about once a year, performing the hits that have captured the hearts of fans who want to hear them on an endless loop. With Donald Trump, we get a riveting stadium show almost every day.

The enemies of Israel and humanity — Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis — are topping the charts. Based on Trump's statements today about Iran, get ready for the next big hit. A hit I already wrote about back in August 2024: "The target is Tehran. The destruction of the Ayatollahs' regime."

I’ve been studying Trump since he was elected — trying to understand the man. I’ve focused mainly on determining whether he is as truly erratic, unpolished, inconsistent and quick-tempered as the media portray him. In short, a wild card. Above all, I’ve been looking for signs of unpredictability — the trait that concerns the Israeli public, fearing that Trump might backtrack on the positions that align with our views. So, I spent hours listening to his speeches in various forums, selecting diverse topics and audiences —his long addresses before his Cabinet meetings, press conferences, and one-on-one interviews, among others. My first impression? The man never stops talking. Everywhere, about everything.

But that’s actually useful because it lets you to check whether he is coherent. I reached many conclusions, but the one that stood out first was familiar; he’s an entrepreneur who sees a deal or a problem that needs fixing — and he knows that waiting isn’t an option; he has to act immediately.

Take his position on the tens of thousands of American factories that shut down and moved overseas. He’s trying to bring them back by imposing tariffs on imports. It’s just common sense. He says that if the U.S. is your main market, why not bring your production lines back so that the American economy — the primary consumer — benefits from employment and reduces unemployment? Bring back the factories, and the tariffs will be lifted. How simple.

The same goes for the deep state, which, according to the investigation by Elon Musk’s team, which is running the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, gave itself billions of dollars to promote liberal values verging on insanity in the U.S. and around the world. The same applies to the Democrats’ progressive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies, which wrecked the American economy by forcing corporations — and the entire government — to hire underqualified employees instead of the most capable candidates.

The same goes for his position on NATO and Europe, which have exploited the U.S. for decades. The same applies to the arrogant Volodymyr Zelenskyy. And the same goes for removing Palestinians from Gaza.

So, is he erratic and unpolished? It seems not. Those among us who are fixated in their thinking will call him reckless and impatient. The wise will call it global entrepreneurial leadership with a killer instinct and common sense. Choose where you want to stand. But more than anything, what emerges is the image of a man with a clear and structured worldview. He consistently voices the core principles of his ideas in every forum and on every topic — not just how to fix a declining American society but also how humanity itself should be shaped. Unlike the hypocritical policies that have long defined the West’s approach to Israel, Trump’s world is straightforward: There are good guys and bad guys — and, most importantly, you can’t blame the good guys for the plight of the bad guys. The good elevate humanity. The bad seek to drag it into darkness.

At last, the leader of the free world speaks without filters, without the decades-old progressive hypocrisy that has wreaked havoc on the moral standing and righteousness of the Jewish state. He makes it clear: Those who seek to spread darkness and dominate the world come primarily from Muslim countries. In Trump’s view, Israel is humanity’s forward outpost, defending it from the forces of evil. That’s why, nearly every speech he gives sends chills down the spine of Jewish-Israeli listeners — unaccustomed to such unwavering praise and fundamental support. For the first time in my life, I truly understand the emotional outpouring of adoring fans gazing up at their idol on stage, calling out with starry-eyed devotion, "I’ll have your baby.”

But the media — oh, the media — they will not share the facts that prove my point. Or, if they do, they will filter them through their anti-Trump agenda. So here are the facts:

Based on the new American policy — one that it is relentlessly pushing onto the world, including Arab states — Israel is experiencing a reality that feels like science fiction: We now have the opportunity to correct the mistakes of Zionism, going back 100 years. Trump says consistently — in every speech and without wavering — that there is only one truth. The Palestinian murderers are the bad guys. The Israelis, who have the right to their land, are the good guys. The Palestinians need to get out of here. Iran is a warmongering country that wants to destroy Israel. It sends proxies on its behalf (Hezbollah, the Houthis) and pretends not to be involved. That's why Trump recently warned the Iranians that every shot fired by the Houthis will be considered as if it was fired by Iran. Common sense.

The inclusive, progressive administration of Joe Biden, full of colonialist guilt, internalized the lies of the Palestinians, refused to stop Palestinian protests, refused to attack the Houthis and Hezbollah, refused to attack Iran, and if, along the way, the Jewish state disappears, then let it disappear. The progressive Democrats in the U.S., led by President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, saw us, the Jewish son, as being directly responsible for the frustration of the murderous Palestinians, the enemies of humanity in the entire region. Therefore, without hesitation, they stopped the supply of ammunition and D-9 bulldozers, which led to many casualties among our forces, and, worst of all, forced Israel into the middle of a war for the first time in military history so supplies could enter enemy lines and help the innocent people in Gaza.

But as far as President Trump is concerned, the Palestinians in Gaza are all murderers. Or are busy supporting murder. Even those who are not involved constitute a supportive environment. As the noble-hearted hostage Eli Sharabi said, "The citizens saw us suffering and they cheered for the terrorists. There are no uninvolved people in Gaza."

We now have the opportunity to correct the mistakes of Zionism 100 years ago. Establishing the "Directorate for the Voluntary Evacuation of Gaza Residents" is a dramatic step of biblical magnitude. The story is simple. Zionism was wrong when it treated the return to the Jewish homeland in a bipolar manner. At one end is the understanding that we are returning to our land, and to speak Trump’s language, we are returning to the real estate that we own. At the other end, Zionism has developed an inclusive and compassionate attitude toward the Palestinians who settled in our home. So that's where we were wrong. Jewish compassion was a burden to us. To justify bipolarity and consideration for the Palestinians, some of us closed the Bible, which documents our ownership of the land, and then we began to lie to ourselves.

We lied to ourselves when we refused to admit that the conflict was religious and not political. We lied to ourselves when we thought that if we just compromised, then the Palestinians would want to live alongside us in peace. We lied to ourselves when we stopped talking about our rights based on the Bible until Hamas came and explained to us on behalf of the Palestinians that the conflict was religious — therefore, 100 years too late, the Jews stopped containing the event. The Jews have gone crazy. That's the language of the Muslim neighborhood.

History usually does not allow humanity to correct itself. We won. However, the task of correction that is required of us with the historic support of President Trump is enormous. It is not a task for the government as it currently exists. Benjamin Netanyahu needs to focus on expanding the government at all costs, especially with one central figure now in the opposition. That figure is also the only one who could replace Netanyahu when the day comes. His mere presence in the government will tell the world that Israel has changed the record. The Jews have gone crazy. Consider this story about the figure. The war cries that Egypt dared to sound against Israel a few weeks ago in response to the proposal that Egypt absorb Palestinians terrified a large part of the Israeli public. But despite Egypt's enthusiasm and initial success in the intimidation campaign, the war cries were quickly silenced. This happened immediately when someone conveyed a statement to senior regime officials in Egypt by an Israeli official from 24 years ago, who already understood how people in the neighborhood here talked at that time. Everyone then condemned him for his statement. The Israeli official declared, "In the event of tension, Israel will bomb the Aswan Dam." The Israeli official's name was Avigdor Lieberman.
