Americans Should Take On Their Chlorine Chicken

Volkswagen proves that lies and deceit are all over the place. It has become so bad that the ADAC suddenly seems serious again, like Vladimir Putin. In the age of falsehood, he is almost a prince of peace.*

Who can you still really believe? VW and Audi have already been ruled out, FIFA naturally was the first to go, Ursula von der Leyen’s credibility is at least a little eroded, and Angela Merkel also doesn’t know at breakfast if she should work hard during the day to ensure the wall is rebuilt to keep out refugees.**

There are also too many rules and laws. Why is it that a respectable official is prohibited from accepting money when he has made a commitment to hold the FIFA World Cup in a scorching desert country?

Why are Americans so terribly fussy about their emission levels that they force a prestigious car marker to virtually commit fraud? Here, we are of the opinion that they should instead take on their chlorine chicken first.

The situation is so grave and confused that the ADAC suddenly seems serious again, and the Catholic Church is also acting unacceptably. Even Putin is suddenly no longer the flawless Antichrist, but rather a respected prince of peace.

*Editor’s note: The ADAC, or Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club, is an automobile club in Germany founded in 1903.

**Editor’s note: FIFA or Federation Internationale de Football Association, is the governing body of football (or soccer) based in Zurich, Switzerland. Ursula von der Leyen is the Federal Minister of Defense in Germany.
