Dinosaurs Devour Mice

It is said that because dinosaurs had to eat much and there was a lack of food, they finally became extinct. Now, the financial dinosaurs of the Wall Street collapsed one by one in an appearance of the domino effect for the same reason.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, Lehman Brothers, WAMU, etc., all dinosaur-like financial institutes, tend to devour everything ranging from the rich to the middle class, from the middle class to retirees and new graduates, from prime lending to subprime lending, from financial commodities to derivatives, and from the U.S. to the whole world. They constantly deflate credit, expand the scope of looting, put forward synchronized renovation, manipulate financial leverage until their credit can no longer sustain it and all go into a stall overnight. It resembles a huge dinosaur that eats from trees to shrubs and from shrubs to wild grass until there is nothing to eat, and dies.

Now we look back and see that the flooding of the global financial crisis is just like a world-class pyramid scheme, in which old mice were fed by new mice and the American mice by foreign mice. One day, all of a sudden, the scheme collapsed owing to no more new recruits of mice or a lack of mice feed. As a result, the most stunning scene in this financial crisis of the century is the widespread corpses of mice around the world, not those of the financial dinosaur in the Wall Street.

This is what we regret most in this financial turmoil. Those financial dinosaurs are all “legal persons", whose CEOs have already sucked the blood of the mice, and have gained both wealth and fame. Now, after the dinosaurs dropped dead on the ground, the government had to clear the mess and carry the corpses away. As for the government, it is also a “public legal person". People who were capable of dealing with financial problems like Greenspan and some others had made their personal life a legend. As far as we can see all mice around the world are scattering around fearfully, losing their blood, jobs, even hard-earned life savings that might vanish overnight. Everyone has become “the last mouse".

It was a capitalist horror show – “dinosaurs devour mice". While dinosaurs unscrupulously hunted for their prey, mice had no room at all to refuse to participate in the game. It is because even if you haven’t taken part in the financial game, you can hardly avoid being injured by the dinosaurs when they fall.
