IranÂ’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, in a letter of objection to the head of the Security Council regarding the baseless statements made by the American Ambassador of this organization, specified that Iran has always condemned all violence in Iraq.

Fars News agency reported that Mohammad Khazaee, Ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations on Friday, November 14 through a letter to the head of the Security Council objected the baseless and unsupported statements made by the American ambassador of this organization.

This letter, which was quickly published as a document of the security council, points to [KhalizadÂ’s] the American ambassadorÂ’s statements, who one hour before, during an Iraqi perimeter Security Council meeting complained by making manipulative and insubstantial allegations regarding our country, says "Now, it is not surprising and unexpected that America, who intends to deviate the United NationÂ’s attention regarding their own wrong and broken policies in Iraq would take steps towards making baseless and unsupported accusations against others."

This letter, which emphasizes the repeated and unsupported allegations, continues by saying, "America, contrary to the claims mentioned, has never been able to provide minimal documents to prove these unsupported allegations."

This letter is a reminder that Iran has always strongly condemned violence and terrorism in Iraq, and has taken steps to completely support the Iraqi governmentÂ’s challenges of establishing stability and reconstruction for the country.

This letter concludes by saying, "Unfortunately, America still talks about these baseless and unsupported allegations while Iran has suffered casualties due to terrorist attacks taken by criminal groups in Iraq, which is still under the unacceptable support of America."
