An eminent Jewish author, Chaim Bermant has summed up Jewish history in his must read Book: “The Jews.” “Jews”, he says, “were rarely in control of their destiny and where they impinged on history it was because they were troublesome or in trouble.” One recalls with great surprise and even anguish that it was a German Banker who paved the way for Hitler’s rise. The top priority of the Jews lie in warding off the heavenly threat and choose between a profane State of Israel or a palatable peace with the Arabs. Israel’s peace loving President might be mulling plausible options to stall the looming threat from the heavens.
