An expert on foreign political issues alluded to a necessary and rapid response by the international community, referring to the terroristic actions taken against Iran. He said “America must know that Iran could take action against the U.S. to protect Iranian scientists.”

Sadollah Zarei said, in a reporter’s club discussion in regards to yesterday’s (Jan. 11) incident which resulted in one Iranian nuclear scientist being martyred, that this is very much in line with America’s [actions] these past few years. He also stated, “Enemies with reason to fear Iran’s advancements have begun pursuing the elimination of its physicists.” He said that enemies of the state have come to the conclusion that direct methods, such as sanctions against Iran, will not work; he added, “We have also witnessed the utilization of this scenario by America and Israel against Iraqi scientists and scientists of other countries.”
