Dream Comes True After 45 Years

45 years only after the end of the Civil Rights Movement led by Martin Luther King which was claiming equality between Whites and Blacks and the right of a black women to sit next to a white woman in the bus, at school and in a restaurant, the American society has finally managed to untie major part of the apartheid complex knot that has been harming its image throughout history.

The credit of this great achievement should go to Mr. Bush and his Neocons team who have brought America and the world to the brink of the abyss. Their deadly mistakes made whites forgive their color at the time of voting.

Historians believe more than anyone else that events, ideas, individuals and facts contribute significantly to the creation of their opposites when they exceed the boundaries of logic and reason. This is exactly what happened with Bush and Barack Hussein Obama who won the access card to the White House as 44th President of the United States.

John McCain, Obama’s defeated opponent, made a brilliant comment “from now on, there should be no reason for an American not to be proud of this country”. McCain’s statement clearly means that racism, which accompanied the birth of the American nation, was badly defeated on Wednesday. It also intends that if further elements come out in the future, this political and social barrier will probably disappear forever on behalf of a multi-ethnic and democratic society both socially and politically without the notion of color. Only competence, work and production will be taken into account.

This is not a defeat of John McCain only but also a defeat of the fear complex planted by the Neocons in the minds and hearts of Americans. In order to achieve their devastating dreams, the Neocons managed to change the world’s superpower, in 8 years, into a gun-like country breaching international law, manipulating the United Nations, neglecting agreements on the environment preservation, making fun of the International Criminal Court, waging two wars in less than one year and planning for other wars against Iran, Syria and other “rogue states” that come within Bush’s “axis of evil.”

There is a major difference between living and dying societies. The former correct their mistakes and punish cheaters whereas the latter surrender to them and find excuses to their crimes until they end into disaster.

Bush exploited his war against Al-Qaeda and its leader bin Laden to win a second mandate. Today, with the financial crisis and the devastating war in Iraq and Afghanistan, Americans woke up. 66 % of Americans went to the election offices waiting in long queues and in cold weather to give their vote. They are now aware that this vote is of great value…It can put and end to a system, a program and a project and give birth to a new system with new ideas…

My thoughts are with the Third World which follows democracy through TV since it has no real democracy on the ground. It seems that this democracy is too far to reach.
