Homosexuals, Arrr…

While reviewing my news writings from previous years, I was met with an article from April 1, 1994, commenting on a U.S. law from 1993 that, despite the efforts of Clinton, forbade openly gay soldiers from serving in the Yankee Army. Three days ago, the U.S. Senate voted to repeal this law, and in short we will have a drove of gay marines participating in the Star Wars, until the final victory with Victor Victoria in command. It is a triumph of President Obama, who had promised to have the law known as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repealed, which prevented gays from entering battle, not even in the rear. In fact, my commentary was centralized on what was happening in Colombia, when cases of suicide were continuing in the ranks due to mistreatment by superiors.

The article went like this, reprinted just for periodical curiosity: A fag friend told me the other night, red with anger, that he was considered detrimental to the free development of personality, that because of the particular condition of their love, they are excluded from service to their country. He had tried to give himself as a gift to the army since he was 18, but he had been sent packing by a brusque sergeant. He didn’t understand that in the barracks, where he had fear of nothing, the door was closed to infiltration by homosexuals.

The army has never respected the “conscientious objector”: the position of a citizen, by virtue of beliefs and worship, that prevents him from attacking and killing. Look at the imprisonment by the United States of legendary boxer Cassius Clay, who refused to fight with a gun in his hand in support of the aggressive policy of the Empire, but instead adhered to Islam under the name of pastor Mohamed Ali.

However, in Colombia it seems there is a tendency to respect what we could call “line objection”. General Valencia Tovar states that only over his dead body can a nelly Joe join the ranks. The new constitution, meanwhile, is not so stiff and opens the possibility that even the bravest crazy person can don the kepi. Now a mass desertion from the army is being introduced, not through fleeing, but through the back door of suicide, allegedly from torturous treatment by superiors.

The staff officers believe that those who turn to suicide in these conditions are people so sensitive and and delicate that they had nothing to do there anyway. This will let the chauvinist position of the high command prevail. In this case, those who have a conscientious objection to grabbing weapons would do well to do it as fairies, out of love for humanity. When all is said and done there will be many parents who prefer to have a son who poses as a faggot and not as a soldier.

You need to be very faggy, I told my friend, to demand that you receive a military garrison where your own oversensitivity is excluded, especially considering that many parents have sent their children to the army so they can “turn them into men,” as I heard before. But in any case, they were returned as bodies.

I cannot imagine the case of the soldier who has fallen in love with another soldier of the opposing army and its implications. Uniformed sodomite love is tolerated to the extent that at the time of saluting, do not say, “Good morning my general,” but instead, “good morning my sun.” We know that anything can happen as a result of burning jealousy, and if the heel hurts in a shoe, how it must feel in a boot.

With all respect to both sides considered, according to General Valencia Tovar and against Clinton, the permissive presence of homosexuals among the platoons is not advisable.
