American Terror in the Form of Guantanamo and Blackwater

The United States committed yet another crime in the midst of its malicious and hideous plans to eliminate the Palestinian issue by gripping an additional filthy tool in support of the implementation of Israel’s racist, chauvinistic, hostile plans to intimidate the Palestinian people, eradicate and displace them and to transform their cities and villages into a large prison — a new Guantanamo — through a strategy based on reducing the entire issue to one of security, with the political, humanitarian and moral sides of the issue flattened.

America focused on the security solution from the earliest days of the current century by relying on the security coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Gen. Dayton, who worked for the sole purposes of containing, repressing, intimidating and alienating (the Palestinian people) alongside Mossad. And any talk about any political or economic role for America is just sand thrown in the eyes, i.e. a red herring.

Novel today is that America is enabling Blackwater’s notorious security gangs to practice terrorism, commit murder and spread sedition, as well as all the things America announced — at least — about their massacres and excessive abuse of peoples’ lives and about the terrorist programs carried out in Iraq.

According to these announcements, the company enlists gangs of mercenaries who are entrusted with major responsibilities and participate in the practice of revenge, sabotage and assassination. And yet American forces cannot assess these things, as former Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld explained.

There is nothing that can mend this catastrophe named Blackwater that has moved from Iraq to Palestine. However, Palestinian and Arab complicity and silence about this are a development not to be separated from the aforementioned policies threatening the land and culture of Palestine and the policy of ethnic cleansing.

The most painful development toward full implementation of the criminal policy of violating the Palestinians and blotting out Palestine as an issue is this indifference, acting under the dark guise of a political media deluge that specializes in obscuring the Palestinian issue. For example, the invasion and occupation of Iraq went beyond breaking the spine of the Arab nation and depriving it of its sway in the Arab east. Iraq, along with Arab Russia, was a force averse to settlement of the issue, and thus it was occupied for the sake of an easier settlement of the Palestinian issue. And beyond that, the occupation of Iraq, the trauma, the terrorizing, the bloody massacres and the striking away of resistors and constituents, along with every daily, provocative action over the course of years, all of this occurred with the intent to cover up the proceedings of the Palestinian issue, since the Iraqi catastrophe occupied Arab and worldwide attention more so than the Palestinian issue, which was no longer the primary Arab affair.

Worldwide, it was no longer the central issue, and so the Arab states were busy picking out their thorns. And dynamic seasonal events were overpowering in covering up the Palestinian issue and its tragic developments — the latest of which was the confiscation of the land of occupied Palestine by the Blackwater gangs — beneath the shadow of an entire peninsula’s current fixation on the resounding, intriguing Tunisian explosion, beneath the shadow of the intense Lebanese conflict now attracting special interest through the glow and lights of the Lebanese media’s ingenuity, which envelops the Lebanese political scene. And let us not forget the foremost reality: the casting off of the south from the north in Sudan. And without (forgetting) the tensions imposed by conditions in Iraq, Yemen and Algeria, nor excluding the Arab countries beginning with Egypt and ending with Mauritania, and all this at the expense of Palestine.
