Continuous Boundary Violations from Afghanistan's Side

Terrorists are continuing attacks on Pakistan from the Afghan border; the Pakistani government had even registered a severe protest against these attacks the day before, but in spite of this, 20 mortar shells were fired from the Afghan side. NATO armies are posted on the Afghan border, but some forces are preventing the normalization of Pakistani-Afghan relations. India’s growing influence in Afghanistan is certainly a danger signal for Pakistan. Now the American defense secretary is demanding that Pakistan accept responsibility for destroying the terrorists’ hideouts — even though the attacks are being carried out from Afghanistan despite the presence of the American army there.

As a front line ally, Pakistan has been waging a war against terrorism for the last 11 years, in which it has suffered considerable loss of life as well as financial loss. It is necessary for American authorities to take notice of the attacks on Pakistan from the Afghan side and ensure that such attacks from across the border do not take place in future. America has now also embarked on preparing drone submarines, after which it is planning to consolidate its role as boss. But it also needs to maintain some consideration for its front line ally — which is the lone Islamic country with nuclear capability.
