  1. The story seems an exercise in ambiguity. Afghanistan’s destiny lies as a safe conduit for transit of trade in a resurgent central Asia. The roadmap lies in memorization of the region. This process is long overdue. Mullah Umer and the Taliban do not fit into modern democracy, which is played by the rules. Similarly the SAARC countries need replacement of the puppet parliaments with functioning democracies such as the two-party system in England. Islam is definitely in no way averse to modern democracy. The essence of democracy is that the people are the sovereign rulers and the whole system moves for their awareness and advancement.
