Obama: A Dominating Figure

The U.S. demonstrates a willingness to utilize its veto power at the United Nations Security Council and reasserts its commitment to Israel. Barack Obama, the United States’ principal representative and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, speaks on behalf of the government. Moreover, it is not by sheer chance that among Obama’s closest collaborators are Zionists like Rahm Emanuel.

The extreme right acts as an independent group, while the Democratic Party has its own representatives, Emanuel being one of them. Emanuel was a civil service volunteer for the Israeli army during the Persian Gulf War, and he has defended heinous acts of aggression.

President Obama, who appointed this man as his Chief of Staff and considers him a trustworthy collaborator, is the same Obama who showed his readiness to veto any decision made by the Security Council recognizing Palestine as a state.

During his last speech to the United Nations, Obama spoke about Israel in the same way Condolezza Rice did when she attempted to justify the killing in Gaza. Agreement with the Zionist group unifies both the right wing and the extreme right within the U.S. political power system.

Furthermore, Brazil and Colombia are both provisional members of the Security Council. Obama is well aware that Colombia, governed by the right wing extremist Juan Manuel Santos, would attempt to avoid the acknowledgment of Palestine.

Santos states that Israelis and Palestinians must negotiate among themselves to achieve a sense of peace. Couldn’t he have said something different from what Obama said? Santos is a clever politician, but he cannot always hide the fact that he acts like a puppet, and sometimes, his true colors show.

While Álvaro Uribe Vélez, the ex-president who was not presentable because of his clear paramilitary ties, was in office, Santos, the Defense Secretary at the time, received assistance from Israel in attacking his own neighbors, including raiding Ecuador in March 2008.

Obama is ahead of those who infringe on political progress. He lied when he introduced himself as an agent of change. That much is obvious.
