What Happens in America …

Only those Islamic scholars/imams who are in America’s good graces can enter the country. It is ironic that while America does not want these Muslims in its country, these scholars want passionately to go to America to preach to American Muslims. It would be a miracle for anyone associated with an Islamic organization in Pakistan to get a U.S. visa these days. I want to ask the following questions to some of these Pakistani scholars who desire to preach in America: Why are you not more concerned about Muslims in Pakistan? Are they so holy that you do not have anything to preach to them anymore?

The need for Islam is stronger here than in America. These people fail to make Pakistani Muslims holier, and instead head to the U.S. to work with Pakistani Muslims there! Pakistanis here do not follow any rules; they break all the state laws and the laws of both the Quran and the Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad). All these scholars accomplish when they go to America is to make the Muslims there more Americanized, to make sure they assimilate and follow all American customs and laws.

The truth is that American Muslims are suffering a lot. America continues its anti-Islamic and anti-Muslim “investigations.” One American company dismissed 34 of its Muslim employees. Some of these employees had been working for the company for 30 years. The company stated that these workers had been dismissed for their tardiness, and because they were taking breaks to pray. The workers maintain that they were fired for purely discriminatory reasons.

The Islamic scholars here who are being issued U.S. visas should know that they will not be allowed to speak freely there. In the face of celebrations in the aftermath of Salman Taseer’s death, America warned its Muslims to not participate. Doing otherwise, it said, would result in their names being black-listed. America also carefully monitors all anti-American activities on its soil.

These are the reasons why Pakistani Muslim scholars become so “soft” when they go to America. These scholars make anti-Jewish comments at home but adopt a different attitude when they go to America. They start speaking the “language of dollars.” They know that they will have to become pro-American in order to be able to stay there. Now that they lust for American dollars and acceptance, they can no longer say what they used to say back home, that “Allah has cursed the Jews.” If they spoke like this, they would be deprived of everything.
