The U.S. president’s behavior regarding North Korea is reminiscent of the “Lemon Popsicle” movies. Except that it is not funny.
At some point, Trump will cease bathing. He will stay in bed all day in a locked room yelling at the TV and tweeting. The White House is a bunker now. The rest of us should be grateful to Twitter for providing an alert system for this man’s gradual collapse.
The parsimonious explanation, of course, is that Trump’s mine-is-bigger tweet is nothing more than another expression of his own juvenile tendency toward one-upsmanship.
Trump will no doubt continue to insist he isn't a racist, but the evidence to back that claim has been chipped away to almost nothing.
