With the political crisis in Ukraine developing rapidly, it must be asked who stands behind the planning of the special forces operation meant to suppress popular protests in Eastern Ukraine. Who is truly calling the shots? And whose forces are responsible for carrying them out?
Igor Korotchenko, military expert, director of the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade, and head editor of National Defense magazine, has the answers.
"We watched the meeting Vice President Joe Biden led with the Kiev regime's leaders in the Ukrainian capital on Sunday. He sat at the front of the table, as chairman, with Ukrainian politicians sitting at his side and listening attentively to American instructions. This is how we know that the events occurring in the Ukraine are transpiring under the direct orders of the USA, an undeniable fact.
As far as the direct involvement of American forces and strategists in the anti-protest operation in Eastern Ukraine is concerned, it must first be noted that Americans are currently supplying Kiev with electronic and satellite intelligence on the situation in Donbass and the surrounding Ukrainian border. Clearly, the U.S. military attaché apparatus in Kiev is collaborating closely with Ukraine's forces, and, by all accounts, may even be coordinating them.
Secondly, the mere fact that there are several hundred American mercenaries linked with Greystone Limited — formerly Blackwater USA — a private military company stationed in Ukraine who can be called to duty at any time during the operation, serves as further proof, in my opinion, that Americans are involved in Ukraine's domestic events.
Lastly and most importantly, it must be realized that the ‘Right Sector’ is the offspring of the CIA. The reason why Valentyn Nolyvaichenko, head of Ukraine’s security service, spent four years developing the Right Sector's military structure while also training Dmytro Yarosh and other organization leaders becomes clear when viewed in light of the allegations made against him of being an ex-CIA agent. The connection between Nolyvaichenko and the CIA goes to show that the Right Sector, clout of Ukrainian nationalists, is the result of American hush-hush policy and diplomacy, just as al-Qaida was. Given all this, it is without doubt that the events unfolding in Ukraine are being staged, managed and controlled by the USA."
